Citius Printing & Graphics' Pre-press department offers fast and efficient
service to our customers. We strive to make
sure all files are built correctly and print to the satisfaction of the customer.
The pre-press staff has experience from both graphic design and print backgrounds
which allows for an easy transition from digital data to the printed product.
At Citius Printing & Graphics, we want your printing experience to be
easy, quick and trouble free. So here are some helpful hints that will assist
you along the way to ensure that your product is of the highest quality.
Creating a Disk for Digital Output:
- When creating a disk make sure all your fonts are included. These
include printer fonts, Screen fonts and PostScript fonts. By including the
fonts, this will ensure that the text in your piece will not be substituted
with another font and will also help prevent the text from reflowing.

Remember to include all images used in the piece. Images should be saved
as either CMYK or Grayscale in TIFF format. JPEGS are not recommended.

If possible please include the Design program your project was created in.
Remember to double check that our version of the program is comparable to
yours. This is to prevent any problems opening the files.

ALWAYS include a printed proof or PDF with your files. This allows us to
have something to check against to make sure that there are no text reflows,
color shifts or dropped images. If you have a piece that folds or backs up
a certain way, please include the folded piece so that we can make sure the
pages are printed in the proper order and the piece looks the way you intended.

We suggest that you compress large files when sending them to us via e-mail.
Citius Printing & Graphics offers services on both PC and Mac computers.
So we do accept both Zipped and Stuffed files. And if at all possible please
specify the type of machine (PC or Mac) that the file was created in to one
of our sales representatives so that we may properly prepare for your incoming
file.
